Looking Forward

2020 has been a year unlike any we have experienced and it has caused us all to look around and re-evaluate priorities.  In these troubling times of rapid change there is a new urgency for progressive action to save our planet and its peoples.  

For us, this has meant looking back at our own contributions towards those ends and the types of impact we want to have in the future. AlpenImage has always been about the spirit of exploration and adventuring into the unknown to bring back stories and images to inspire others.  Now we want to double down and make our mission more explicit, pivoting more strongly into a purpose driven business dedicated to making even more positive impacts through our work: captivating, educating and inspiring collective action for the preservation of planet Earth and the diversity of its ecosystems and varied ways of life.

In addition to many future projects we hope to accomplish, we are also repurposing our forty years of existing content - tens of thousands of images and stories, many as yet untold -  in new and different ways to reach even broader audiences.  We are actively seeking opportunities for collaboration, new partners and are redoubling our efforts with existing ones to bring about our shared goals of shaping a more sustainable planet where our grandchildren can still appreciate so much that enriches our lives today.
